Our Fabolous Salad

LUAU SALAD

One of our fabolous salad in the restaurant. This salad is a dope. It's kinda sweet and sour with three layers in height.


It's grilled chicken topped with mixed greens, cucumber, julliane carrot, red and green onion, red and yellow pepper, pineapple, crisp wantons, sesame seed and macadamian nuts. Cabbage is added to maintain the structure of luau salad. The Luau salad is tossed with shallot vinaigrett (contains onion), and drizzle of creamy oriental dressing, The wantons is glazed with orange sauce. The other dressing in the salad is spicy peanut vinaigrette.

Training a new server

New server training which i've been doing is fun . Some of the very beginning subject which i'm involved in is how would u greet a guest in your table. Lets say for the single sat table.

Good morning or good evening.

Welcome to our restaurant. My name is Doni and i ll be your server tonight.
I would like to let you know that we have fresh salmon available in our menu. Its a fresh pan seared salmon, sauteed with mushroom, capers over  delicious lemon sauce and served with mash potato and green beans.
Our soup of the day is Mexican Chicken and Vegetable Soup.
Our lunch portion are available until 5 pm.

 Are you ready to take order or would u like to have our classic mojito to start with.
Our mojito is a Lemonade and mint blended together and served over the rocks.

Sometimes you will encounter a double, triple or even quadruple sat. in this situtation, u can do a mini greet to acknowledge your guest immediately. Minigreet or initial greet is the other option when you are unable to provide all aspects of full greeting, acknowledge your guest arrival within 1 minute of seating to assure our eager guest of prompt service.The initial greet is the time to show your guests "great presence"

Hello, Good Evening,  My name is doni, Ill be you server tonight. Ill be back just a moment.

Acknowledge your guest arrival with direct eye contact, a warm smile and sincerty in your voice.

Full greeting
Offer a warm greeting and your undivided attention. Remember to treat the guest as if they are your only guest. This is the opportunity to WOW the guest. A full greeting includes:
- A warm greeting
- Offering and taking any beverage orders
- A fresh description of our menu additions
- Tourguiding, ask the guests if they have question regarding the menu
- Do not automatically tourguide modification that are outlined in the menu guide "upon guest request"

Offer/take the beverage order
- May i bring you a beverage to start with?

Provide menu addition
Menu addition includes our fresh selection, fresh fish selection and other specialties not listed on the menu. clearly describe all of our daily menu additions in a way that sound tempting and unrehearsed. You may want to offerto repeat or clarify details as needed. Daily menu additions should be given every table, every time.
For example:
- We have fresh salmon available in our menu which is simply grilled
- We also have salmon genovese which is served with timato, green beans and artichoke
- Our fresh, house made soup today is clam chowder.

Conduct Tourguiding
Because our menu is extensive, you can help the guest immensely and expedite the decision making process by asking a few questions about their desire and preferences in order to help them makes a quick and informed decision. Tourguiding help validate the guest order to  ensure they get exactly what they expected.

2. Oven/Production Prep 
This station prepares quality, baked items, such as roasted vegetables, croutons, Buffalo wings etc. Also prepares items like Avocado Rolls, Tex-Mex Rolls, and marinated food.


3. Sauce Prep
This station creates our fresh dressing, homemade sauces, as well as marinades that give our meats a unique flavor. This cook prepares many items at once.

4. Portion Prep
This station carefully weighs and measures food for recipes

5. PM Prep
This station completes any work not finished in the morning and keeps the night shift supplied. The pm prep cook must be fast annd knowleadgeable.

NAIK BIS DI KUWAIT - BUS IN KUWAIT

The first 3 week i live in kuwait, i travelled by bus. The first bus i took was bus KPTC number 15. The route is from salmiya to Kuwait city. I get in the bus from apollo hospital. Then the bus stop in the KPTC terminal, right behind the liberation tower of Kuwait.

One day i'm going to Avenues mall from apollo hospital (salmiya). I took bus number 15. When i reached kptc terminal (kuwait city), i took bus number 59. The bus took me to Avenues mall. The bus stop at IKEA junction, Avenues mall. The bus fare is 250 philis or a quarter of dinar. 

It took around an hour to go from salmiya to Avenues mall. So i try another bus that has a direct route from Avenues to Salmiya. I took bus number 77.The problem is i  have to walk from avenues to 4th ring road. I walk through the road next to Direct sport. When i reached toyota showroom, i cross the road and stop the bus there. It took 45 min from Toyota showroom to salmiya.

Bus 999 goes to city and goes back to salmiya, apollo hospital, seaside, arabella mall and Fahaheel.
